Food will include Mole Poblano and other authentic cuisines.

“Every year since its inception, our aim with this celebration is to create a memorable and enjoyable outing, where we celebrate the traditions of Puebla – from its food and drinks to its vibrant dances,” Kirkpatrick said. “This event not only honors the historical significance of Cinco de Mayo and the Battle of Puebla but also reinforces the importance of cultural diversity within Clark County.”

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over the French army in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.

Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. The event is presented in partnership with Joven Progresa Foundation, South Point Hotel Casino & Spa, and others.
