LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Fremont Street Experience will celebrate both the World Cup Championships and America’s 250th anniversary with a two-day event in downtown Las Vegas on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20.

Festivities begin Friday with a Team USA pep rally at 9 a.m. on the Main Street Stage, ahead of the international matchup between the United States and Australia. The rally will feature free giveaways, live music, a temporary tattoo station and a custom hat station.

Fans are then invited to a Team USA watch party with English Premier League club AFC Bournemouth at Stadium Swim inside Circa Resort & Casino at noon.

On Saturday, Fremont Street Experience joins the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s America 250 effort with a fireworks show, launching at Fourth and Fremont streets at 9 p.m. The destination also will debut “Tribute to America,” a new custom music reel celebrating the United States on The Canopy.

All events are free and open to the public.
