LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – You’ll soon have even more opportunities to catch a flight between the 9th Island and Hawaii, but it won’t last long.

Hawaiian Airlines announced Tuesday it’s adding more daily flights between Las Vegas and Honolulu for a limited time.

The airline currently offers four flights a week. Beginning May 24, it will increase that number to three flights a day.

In fact, Hawaiian Airlines is increasing the number of trips it makes to and from several other mainland cities including Austin, Boston, Los Angeles, and Pago Pago.

The airline’s senior vice president says the flights are designed to accommodate summer vacationers.

“Travelers will enjoy more options and convenient schedules as they plan their summer travel to and from the islands,” said Brent Overbeek. “This is also the first year we will offer a fourth daily HNL-LAX flight, which reflects the strong demand for our brand in Southern California.”

Hawaiian Airlines will return to four weekly flights between Las Vegas and Honolulu on July 31st.
