LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — HomeAid Southern Nevada, the nonprofit arm of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association, hosted a trivia night fundraiser with 23 teams and more than 100 participants.
Organizers said all money raised supports HomeAid’s mission to build and renovate spaces for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including shelter beds and food pantries inside local Title I schools.

Funds support emergency housing project
Taylor Booth, executive director of HomeAid Southern Nevada, said the organization is currently working with Living Grace Homes to build 14 emergency beds for young pregnant women and mothers.
“All the money raised tonight will support HomeAid’s mission to help people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness, and that will help us with things such as our renovation projects,” Booth said. “Right now, we’re working with Living Grace Homes to build them 14 emergency beds for young pregnant women and mothers, and events like this help us raise the funds to make things like that happen.”
Those who did not attend the trivia night can donate or sign up to volunteer through HomeAid’s website, which also includes information on future projects and ways to get involved.
