HENDERSON (FOX5) — Henderson Animal Protection Services is asking for the public’s help after an injured puppy was found dumped near a dumpster earlier this week.
According to animal rescue Hearts Alive Village, the puppy was found near at dumpster at Valley Ranch Animal Hospital, located near Valle Verde Drive and the 215 in Henderson.

Now named Treasure, the dog was found with a broken leg, signs of a previously broken jaw, rocks in his stomach, and was very thin, rescue officials say.

They add that there are currently no leads on who left the puppy or who the owner may be.
FOX5 has reached out to the City of Henderson and the Henderson Police Department for more on the possible investigation.
