LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Culinary Union has reached a contract agreement with another property.
According to a social media post, Culinary Workers Union Local 226 has agreed to terms on a new five-year contract with Hilton Grand Vacations Las Vegas.
The union said that the new contract will cover approximately 500 workers. After first signing contracts with MGM Resorts, Caesars, and Wynn, the union has been proceeding to agree with other independent Las Vegas Strip resorts, including the Four Seasons, Mirage/Hard Rock and the Strat.
The union has set a February 2 strike deadline as negotiations continue with a list of 16 other properties —five on the Strip and 11 more downtown—covering approximately 4,700 workers.
