LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Desert Dogs will have a new home next season.

The team announced it will be moving to Lee’s Family Forum, formerly known as the Dollar Loan Center, in Henderson for the 2024-25 season. The Desert Dogs had played at Michelob Ultra Arena since 2021.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Foley Entertainment Group and inaugurate Lee’s Family Forum as the new hub for our devoted Desert Dogs fanbase,” Paul Speaker, CEO of the Las Vegas Desert Dogs, said in a statement. “Given most of our supporters call Southern Nevada home, this transition seamlessly aligns with our commitment to connect with local families and community members right in their neighborhoods. Our gratitude extends to our partners at MGM Resorts International & Michelob ULTRA Arena, whose hospitality has been instrumental in shaping our first two seasons.”

The change moves the team from the Strip to the suburbs, allowing for easier access, more affordable parking and “an intimate atmosphere,” a release by the team said.

“We want to be where our fans live and make a real impact in the community that matters to our fanbase. Embracing Lee’s Family Forum underscores our commitment to forging deeper connections with the residents and families of Las Vegas,” Joe Tsai, co-owner of the Las Vegas Desert Dogs, said in a release. “By being an integral part of the Henderson neighborhood, I hope the Desert Dogs and our players become household names and bring unity and joy to the local community.”
