LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas DJ received recognition from Nevada leaders this month as part of AAPI Heritage Month.
Eric Nagrampa, known as DJ E-Rock, is a Filipino American who has spent the past 15 years building his career in Las Vegas. Originally from the Bay Area, he has established himself at some of the most iconic venues on the Strip.
Recognition alongside entertainment industry leaders
DJ E-Rock says each year, the Welcome to Las Vegas sign lights up gold for the celebration. This year, E-Rock shared the stage with notable names in entertainment.
“They got me to speak alongside of people like Chris Pang from Crazy Rich Asians, my man Michael Yeo, Shin Lim, one of the most renowned magicians out here,” E-Rock said.
E-Rock is the official TAO Group resident DJ and has been spotted alongside artists like G-Eazy, Rick Ross and will.i.am . He has also served as the official DJ for the San Francisco 49ers for 13 years.
“I mix everything. I’m an open-format guy. Top 40. Hip-hop, R&B, house music,” E-Rock said.

Career began as teenager in San Francisco
E-Rock said his start in music was an accident. He learned from a friend’s brother as a kid, and by his teens, he was pursuing the career.
“My journey started when I was 16 years old. I was one of the youngest people to ever hit the airwaves in San Francisco,” E-Rock said. “On top of that, I did my first club at 17 years old.”
After 15 years in Las Vegas, he said the city shaped him and set the bar for what it means to entertain.
“Just to be able to do what I do. And be able to look, dress, and speak. Like somebody out there that can look at me and say, like, you know what? If E-Rock did it, I can too,” E-Rock said.
“I just want to say thank you. And from the bottom of my heart. And hopefully we have 15 more years,” E-Rock said.
E-Rock hosts a show called The Basement every Saturday night at 10 p.m. on 103.9 FM. He also performs at Aviators events and is scheduled to perform when the A’s start playing in Las Vegas in 2028. His next shows will be June 8th for Marquee Monday at Marquee Nightclub and later in the week on June 13th inside the MGM.
