LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a Wednesday evening crash that killed a pedestrian in the south valley.

LVMPD Dispatch received a call reporting an accident with injury at approximately 5:40 p.m. LVMPD Officers arrived on the scene near the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Amigo St. and found that Henderson police and fire departments had also been called.

Officers found a pedestrian on the road and the driver of a vehicle that hit the pedestrian standing by. HPD pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

LVMPD Traffic and fatal details were subsequently called to the scene. A Metro spokesperson said that there were no signs of impairment exhibited by the driver involved in the crash. Police added that fault is yet to be determined.
