LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer accused of domestic violence appeared in court Monday morning, where a judge set his bail at $200,000.
Officer Jeremiah Jordan appeared before a judge at the Las Vegas Justice Court for his initial appearance, following his arrest on June 19.
Jordan is facing five charges, including three felony counts of coercion in the form of domestic violence with threat or use of physical force, one felony count of assault constituting domestic violence with use of a deadly weapon, and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery.

Prosecutors asked the court for $200,000 bail, high-level electronic monitoring, and a no-contact order with the victims. The defense argued for his release, citing Jordan’s loss of income and his role as the sole support for his mother, who lives with him.
Judge Banks sided with the prosecution, granting the $200,000 bail. Jordan’s next court hearing is scheduled for July 6.

Jordan has been employed with LVMPD since 2023 and was assigned to the Community Safety Division at Enterprise Area Command. LVMPD says his police powers have been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the investigation.
Court records show the charges span incidents dating back to August 2025 through June 2026.
LVMPD has not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the alleged incidents.
