LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a barricade situation in the east valley Saturday morning.
Police said a call came in just before 8 a.m. in what officers described as a domestic violence-related incident in the 2900 block of Aloha Avenue.
The incident appeared to be happening at an apartment complex near Vegas Valley Drive and Nellis Boulevard.
A Metro watch commander said SWAT personnel were responding to the standoff. Police said to avoid the area due to a heavy police presence.
This is a developing story.
