LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Raiders have signed fourth-round draft pick cornerback Jermod McCoy, the team announced Wednesday.
McCoy was selected 101st overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
McCoy spent two seasons at Tennessee (2024–25) after transferring from Oregon State, where he played as a true freshman in 2023. In 25 career college games with 18 starts, he recorded 75 tackles, 16 passes defensed and six interceptions.

After his sophomore season in 2024, McCoy was named All-SEC First Team, All-America Second Team and a Jim Thorpe Award Semifinalist. He started all 13 games that year and led the Volunteers with 13 passes defensed and four interceptions — both marks ranking fourth in the SEC.
In 2023 at Oregon State, McCoy played in 12 games with five starts, recording 31 tackles and leading the team with nine passes defensed and two interceptions.
The 6-foot, 193-pound cornerback prepped at Whitehouse High School in Texas, where he played both ways as a senior. He caught 57 passes for 784 yards and eight touchdowns and recorded 28 tackles and two interceptions on defense. He also averaged 25.2 yards per kick return and 18.8 yards per punt return. McCoy earned first-team all-league honors at both cornerback and wide receiver.
