LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The man accused of killing a local mother and her two children is due in court Thursday morning.
Juan Orona, 29, is facing charges of open murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied structure in connection to the killings. Police say he drove himself to LVMPD’s Southeast Area Command substation and turned himself in around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Orona told police he had killed his girlfriend and her two children, and was suffering from a superficial gunshot wound to the stomach. Police say they are still investigating if his wound was self-inflicted.
The names of the three victims have not yet been released.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. Orona is due in court at 9 a.m.
