MESQUITE, Nev. (FOX5) — Mesquite Entertainment is marking Independence Day weekend with free poolside concerts, holiday-themed cocktails, and dining specials at CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Casino & Lodge on July 3-4.
At CasaBlanca, the resort’s free Casapoolooza concert series returns with a special Fourth of July edition.
The weekend begins Friday, July 3, with Local’s Night featuring Southern Utah reggae-rock band The Last Light. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the band performing from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The night also includes DJ sets and $3 well drinks and beers.
On Saturday, July 4, The Springsteen Experience, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band, headlines the celebration.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with a DJ set from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by the concert from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. An After Dark DJ Party is scheduled from 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

- Katherine’s Steakhouse – Guests can indulge in Katherine’s Trio featuring a filet medallion with béarnaise sauce, crab cake with remoulade and panko-crusted shrimp with Verplank sauce for $45.
- Jersey Joe’s Diner – A classic barbecue favorite featuring a half rack of pork ribs served with cornbread, coleslaw and baked beans for $19.99.
- Ritas & Fajitas – Guests can enjoy pork barbacoa braised in a flavorful red sauce, served with rice, beans and tortillas, plus a choice of soup or salad for $13.99.
Virgin River Casino & Lodge
- Sierra’s Buffet – Guests can celebrate with the buffet’s popular BBQ and Beer Thursday featuring a complimentary first serving of Modelo draft beer and additional pours for just $2. The buffet lineup includes barbecue chicken, pork ribs, pulled pork, Southern fried chicken, blackened shrimp, pasta primavera, chicken wings, fish of the day, an expansive salad bar and more for $22.99.
- Virgin River Café – The café will feature a hearty Independence Day platter including three pork ribs, barbecue chicken breast, hot link sausage, cornbread, coleslaw and baked beans for $19.99.

Admission is free with a Mesquite Journey Rewards membership, available at no cost with a valid ID at either property’s rewards desk.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early and reserve cabanas for the poolside shows.
