LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A brand-new care center is open now in North Las Vegas. Miracle Minds Therapy, on Las Vegas Blvd. near Lake Mead, will provide wraparound services to a community that Ash Mirchandani, Founder and CEO of Miracle Minds, says really needs it.

“One in five residents of North Las Vegas need behavioral health,” Mirchandani told FOX5 Tuesday morning.

Mirchandani’s goal is to give care that changes lives.

“We don’t just treat the symptoms, we treat the cause,” he explained. “We have services like basic skills training, targeted case management and psychosocial rehab.”

A Certified Community Behavioral Health Center, or CCBHC, is the gold standard for behavioral health services.

“That designation is really transformative, not only in terms of the model of delivery of care, but also with how quickly you can get access,” COO for Miracle Minds, John Wickett, described.

Miracle Minds won’t have to get prior authorizations for Medicaid, which opens up a large pool of potential patients who otherwise would be denied care.

“They can walk in the door and literally get care without limitations on day one,” Wickett said.

Wickett is also bullish on the quality of care offered by the new center.

“You don’t just get one therapist. You get a treatment team,” he said. “We address issues like housing instability, food insecurity, lack of access to primary medical care — all of those things that indirectly impact a person’s mental health by impacting their sense of well-being and their ability to live.”

Miracle Minds Therapy also has a 24/7 crisis hotline at (702) 888-6300.
