LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Thousands of customers are without power around the Las Vegas Valley.
According to the NV Energy outage map, over 18,000 customers are without power in Clark County.
Around Summerlin Parkway and Rainbow, approximately 2,200 customers were without power. In Henderson, several outages were reported along Green Valley between Warm Springs and Sunset.
The hardest hit zip code was 89014, which had over 12,000 customers without power.
The outages come amid lightning storms around the Las Vegas Valley. The area had just seen a record heat wave.
