LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal crash along the I-11 early Friday morning.
Police said they were called to the area of southbound I-11 at Tropicana Avenue at about 2:47 a.m.

Preliminary information indicates the crash involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The motorcycle rider, identified as an adult man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Currently all southbound travel lanes of I-11 at Tropicana are closed as the investigation continues. Traffic is being diverted to the I-11/Tropicana off-ramp, and the I-11/Tropicana on-ramp is also closed.

Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution in the area as troopers and investigators work at the scene.
