The community features 80 apartments across six two-story buildings, with one- through four-bedroom units designed for families earning between 30 and 80 percent of the area median income.

Amenities include a playground, dog park, basketball court, barbecue areas, turf park and a clubhouse.

The complex is named for Alversa Beals and Essie Henderson, longtime Las Vegas community organizers and civil rights leaders.

The project was developed by The Michaels Organization in partnership with the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority. Funding sources include low-income housing tax credits and American Rescue Plan funds through the “Home Means Nevada” initiative.
