LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A new exhibition now fills the halls of the new Las Vegas Civic Center Gallery.

“Family Album” is a collaboration with the city and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It’s a photographic display designed to evoke feelings of love, connection and family.

“We want people to take away the connective tissue,” said Heather Harmon, executive director with the Las Vegas Museum of Art. “We want people to talk about the show, to come in and feel connected, to think about memory, to think about their own family lives.”

The exhibition is open Monday through Thursday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Las Vegas Civic Center. Admission is free. It’s a sample of what people can expect to see when the city opens its own museum of art. It will open in Symphony Park in 2028.
