LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting in the central valley that left one injured on Thursday afternoon.

Police say the shooting occurred at North Martin Luther King Boulevard and West Bonanza Road around 1:07 p.m. One person has been transported to the hospital, though their current condition is unclear.

Several roads will be closed in the surrounding area during the investigation.

Motorists are advised to avoid the exit and entrance ramps for I-15 and U.S. 95 onto Martin Luther King Boulevard.
