LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police asking drivers to try to avoid the area near S. Nellis Boulevard and Boulder Highway after a crash involving a pedestrian.

Metro says a vehicle hit the person just before seven Monday morning.

Paramedics took them to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with their investigation. They say impairment is not suspected.
