LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A pedestrian is dead after a crash Thursday night, Las Vegas police say.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. at South Decattur Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road. Police said a pedestrian has died at the scene.
Police say the southbound lanes will be closed during the investigation.

“Please avoid the area as the investigation is ongoing,” LVMPD says.
Police did not immediately provide details about the car involved and the driver’s condition.
