LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The North Las Vegas Police Department say several pedestrians were hit by a car on Monday evening.

The crash occurred at Lake Mead Boulevard and Engelstad Street around 9 p.m.

Police said a large gathering of people were in a business parking lot and as the crowd grew, several people moved into the westbound lanes of Lake Mead.

A 2019 silver Nissan Versa was driving west on Lake Mead and struck four pedestrians who were in the street. All the four victims were transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

NLV Police said the adult female driver of the car showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. There were two passengers ages 17 and 6 who were in the car and were not injured.

The driver is facing charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and child endangerment.
