Historic backdrop

The weekend builds on the Nevada Legislature’s designation of the Fruit Loop as a historic cultural landmark in May 2025, recognizing the district’s decades-long role as a gathering place for Las Vegas’ LGBTQ+ community.

“The Fruit Loop is home. For decades, this block has been the heartbeat of Las Vegas’ LGBTQ+ community, and last year the Nevada Legislature made that official when it designated the Fruit Loop a historic cultural landmark,” said Jerry Masini, owner of Piranha Nightclub and Gipsy. “This year, we’re building on that moment with an entire weekend dedicated to celebrating who we are and the community that built this block.”

National Coming Out Day

The block party takes place the night before National Coming Out Day, observed every Oct. 11 since 1988. Programming for Friday, Oct. 9, and Sunday, Oct. 11, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The National Coming Out Day Block Party is free to attend on Saturday, Oct. 10. RSVPs and full weekend event updates will be posted at prideonparadise.com as additional programming is announced.
