LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Tom Brady made a rare appearance at Las Vegas Raiders organized team activities Thursday, stepping onto the practice field as the team continues installing new systems ahead of training camp.
FOX5 captured photos of Brady on the field as Fernando Mendoza prepared to take a snap.
Brady, a minority owner of the Raiders, is not regularly at the facility but remains a resource for the coaching staff, offensive coordinator Andrew Janocko said.
“Tom’s an unbelievable resource for us,” Janocko said. “He’s somebody that we can pick up the phone and call, or you see him around the building. He’s the greatest of all time.”
Janocko said the Raiders are using each practice to build chemistry and put new schemes in place, calling the offseason period “invaluable” for getting players aligned before training camp begins.
Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker says the tone of the offseason program has been focused. “We’re not coming here to really waste time at all,” one player said in the team’s on-air coverage. “We’re coming here to get better, be connected, and win games.”
The Raiders have a handful of practices remaining in the offseason workout program before a break. The team is set to return for training camp in late July.
