LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man accused of committing two homicides in the Las Vegas valley was “found dead” over the weekend, sources say.

36-year-old Mark Michael Ford is accused of killing a man and woman nearly a week apart.

Officers responded to the first homicide on Tuesday, Feb. 20 in the 11000 block of Andorra Street. An unresponsive female was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second homicide happened early Sunday morning in the 7000 block of North Hualapai Way, near the 215 beltway in the northwest valley. A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he would later die.

Following the second homicide, LVMPD detectives “quickly identified” Ford as a suspect, and determined that the “two victims knew each other.”

On Sunday morning, sources tell FOX5 that Ford was found dead and had committed suicide.
