LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Aces will host the first-ever Teddy Bear Toss as part of their annual Cancer Awareness Game against the Washington Mystics on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m. at Michelob Ultra Arena.
Fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears to toss onto the court at halftime when cued. Every stuffed animal collected will be donated to Cure 4 the Kids Foundation, Southern Nevada’s only childhood cancer and rare disease treatment center. The foundation focuses on helping children and families receive quality healthcare to treat and fight those diseases.

What fans need to know
- Donations will only be accepted the day of the game. There will be no donation bins in the arena.
- All bears must be new and must not contain battery packs.
- Fans may bring bears in clear trash bags.
- There is no limit on the number of teddy bears fans can bring.
- Giant teddy bears are not allowed. Only regular or small-sized stuffed animals are permitted.
- Fans who are unable to bring their own bears can purchase additional teddy bears from the Aces Foundation in the lobby near the main entrance.
