LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Henderson Police now say they’ve taken two adults into custody in connection to the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old allegedly by their 12-year-old brother.
The incident happened the night of January 25, in a neighborhood near Wigwam Parkway and Stephanie Street. The victim’s parents took them to the hospital, but they did not survive their injuries.
HPD took the 12-year-old into custody on open murder charges at the time. On Tuesday, officers arrested Jerel and Bryanna Reyes on one count of child abuse each.
The investigation continues, and police are not releasing more details on the circumstances surrounding the case.
