LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Wyoming man who was involved in a crash while riding an e-bike in Mesquite has died, police say.
Nevada State Police said the crash happened Oct. 4 just after 7:30 a.m. in Mesquite, at the intersection of Oasis Boulevard and Ivy Lee Crest. Police said the driver of a Ford Fusion was traveling southbound on Oasis in a roundabout.
Police said the e-bike rider, identified as James Lindsey Jackson, 67, of Evanston, Wyoming, hit the right side of the Ford, causing him to fall from the bike. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Three days later, he died at the hospital.
Police did not immediately provide the name of the Ford driver or their condition after the crash.
So far in 2025, the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command Region One has investigated 48 fatal crashes resulting in 49 fatalities.
