LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Clark County School District is working to find new roles for 97 support professionals and 6 licensed personnel due to lower-than-expected enrollment at some schools.

The enrollment shortfall directly impacts school budgets, prompting the district to use surplus and reduction in force processes to relocate affected workers to new schools.

The district said it is “premature” to indicate it is planning to lay off workers.
