LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — U.S. military couples and veterans still have time to share their love stories for a chance to win a free dream wedding in Las Vegas.
The Clark County Clerk and the Vegas Wedding Chamber recently announced the deadline extension for “Vegas Marries the Military,” a yearly program that provides free weddings and vow renewals in Las Vegas for U.S. military members and veterans.
Couples can now submit their love stories, photos and service details through Sunday, July 12 for a chance to win one of six custom Las Vegas weddings.

The Vegas Wedding Chamber is also asking more wedding and hospitality professionals to volunteer and donate services as a way to thank military members and veterans. Those needed include:
- Officiants
- Florists
- Makeup artists
- Hairstylists
- Transportation companies
- Photographers
- Hotels
- Other partners
This year’s event is set for Tuesday, November 10, with ceremonies held across Clark County followed by a group reception at the Vegas Event Center.
Six couples from all branches will be selected to receive donated ceremonies, receptions and amenities, and they may invite close family and friends.
The reception will include a buffet dinner, wedding cake, a live DJ, professional photography, custom décor and surprise appearances by community leaders and dignitaries.
