LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — More than 600 Clark County students took part in the 13th year of the Spring Giant Student Farmers Market at Downtown Summerlin on Earth Day.
Students from dozens of schools sold produce they grew themselves, along with handmade crafts, through a program run by the nonprofit Green Our Planet.

All of the money goes back into their school gardens and programs, giving students hands-on lessons in STEM, business, and nutrition.
Organizers said the market teaches students how to grow their own food and why fresh produce and healthy habits matter for both their bodies and the planet.
