LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of a crash Friday at 9:28 p.m. at northbound IR-15 at Washington.
The crash involved a pickup truck and a pedestrian. One adult male pedestrian was confirmed deceased on scene.
The driver of the pickup truck remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
All travel lanes on IR-15 northbound at Washington are closed. The IR-11 to IR-15 northbound ramp is also closed. All northbound IR-15 traffic is being diverted off onto the IR-15/D Street off-ramp.
Nevada Highway Patrol advised motorists to slow down when exiting onto the IR-15/D Street off-ramp. Motorists should avoid the area and use alternate routes.
The time when IR-15 and ramps will reopen is unknown.
