LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon left two people injured and forced the closure of northbound Eastern Avenue in Henderson, police said.
Henderson Police officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Wigwam Avenue at approximately 1:51 p.m. following reports of a crash.
Investigators confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the wreck. Emergency medical personnel transported two individuals to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries. The severity of their conditions has not yet been released.
Northbound lanes of Eastern Avenue remain completely blocked at Wigwam Avenue as emergency crews work to clear the wreckage and debris from the roadway.
Authorities are advising motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes as traffic delays continue to build in the surrounding neighborhood.
No further details regarding the cause of the crash have been released.
