LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — An e-bike rider died after crashing into a curb and wall Saturday evening in the southwest Las Vegas valley, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Police said the collision happened around 5:08 p.m. on April 25, 2026, near the T-intersection of Lourdes Avenue and Paseo Del Prado.
Investigators said the e-bike was traveling westbound on Lourdes Avenue and did not slow to yield at the intersection. Police said the rider continued into the intersection, veered right, and struck a concrete curb before hitting a cinderblock wall.
The bike and rider were thrown into the wall, then onto the sidewalk to the right, where they came to rest on the sidewalk and roadway, police said.
The rider was taken by ambulance to the UMC Trauma Center, where police said he later died despite life-saving measures.
The crash remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.
