Detectives said Yuma prison investigators told them that during a phone call with a family member in prison, Chambers talked about making a bomb.

Detectives said they also discussed hiding guns and drugs before the inmate is released from prison and visiting the inmate’s home.

Chambers also reportedly referenced the Laughlin Bridge, better known as the Donald J. Laughlin Memorial Bridge, that connects Arizona and Nevada over the Colorado River.

Chambers was arrested around 5:30 a.m. in the area of Arizona Highway 95 and Oatman Road. Police said he had cocaine on him.

A bomb squad and K-9s searched Chambers’ home on Church Street, near Ramar Road and Hancock Road, and they said they found a bomb, bomb-making materials and more cocaine.

Chambers was booked into jail on charges of making terrorist threats, possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.
