Firefighters respond to early morning brush fire in Laughlin

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Bullhead City Fire Department is responding to a brush fire in Laughlin Tuesday morning.

According to a social media post, crews responded to the area of 7^th Street and Highway 95.

The fire is under control, but crews remain on scene to monitor hot spots. An outage is impacting the area surrounding the fire and Mohave Electric Cooperate is working on restoring power, according to the social media post.

Residents and drivers in the area should expect visible smoke for the next several hours. The cause remains under investigation.
