LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — 32 Clark County School District seniors have been selected as National Merit Scholarship winners.
“These 32 students are true examples of the academic excellence that is one of the pillars of the Destination District strategic plan,” CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebert said.

Danny Nguyen from Advanced Technologies Academy received the Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship, financed by approximately 115 corporations and business organizations.
10 CCSD students were selected for the National Merit $2,500 Scholarship from more than 15,000 finalists: Alexia Binu, Celine Chang, Sophia Dai, Iris Elimelech, Isabella Kim, Ethan Kurian, Samuel Kyong, Rachel Lee, Maryiam Syed and Jonathan Yang.
21 students received College-Sponsored Merit Scholarships, financed by 138 higher education institutions. Recipients will receive between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years: Paul Bearden, Sarah Corpuz, Jeffery Crampton, Michaelangel Davalos, Wyatt Delgado, Gavin Ferran, Rachel Foreman, John Hussey, Anthony Kinsey, Jake Kirigin, Maya Ladzinski, James Lamug, Brandon Little, Charlotte Martin, Theo Miguel Perez, Julia Pistalu, Caden Schwartz, Tyler Solow, Devan Umakanthan, Joseph Daniel Vierra and Mai Lan Vu.
