LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — 14 athletes from Nevada will travel to Denver to compete in the 2026 Transplant Games of America, a national event celebrating organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation.
Team Nevada is comprised of 14 athletes, including transplant recipients, living donors and donor family members. The team will compete in swimming, track and field, bowling and other competitions.

The team will join thousands of participants from across the country for the biennial event, which highlights the impact of donation and transplantation.
“The Transplant Games of America celebrates the incredible gift of life made possible through organ, eye and tissue donation,” said Tyre Gray, a kidney recipient and chief administrative and legal officer of The Donor Network. “Our Team Nevada athletes represent the resilience, determination and gratitude that define the donation and transplant community. We are honored to support them as they share their stories and inspire others to register as donors.”
The games will take place June 18-23 in Denver and are expected to draw thousands of competitors from across the country.
