LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A second 18-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with a deadly January shooting that left one dead.

18-year-old David Andres was taken into custody on Feb. 29 for open murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Andres is also the second suspect to be arrested in connection to the shooting this week, after 18-year-old Prseyus Dennis was arrested on Feb. 28.

Two other suspects believed to be connected to the shooting are still outstanding.

Police initially responded to the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive around 9:41 p.m. on Jan. 2, where they located a man inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were also notified of an additional male who had arrived at a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It was later determined that the injuries were related to the shooting.

An investigation would reveal that several subjects, including both victims, were in the apartment at the time of the shooting. However, all subjects were gone by the time police arrived.
