LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The city of Las Vegas is holding a hiring fair next month for its Safekey before and after-school care program.

The fair will be June 10 and 11 at the HR Department on the first floor of the Las Vegas Civic Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The city is looking to fill more than 100 hourly positions, averaging 19 to 25 hours per week. Pay ranges from $14 to $25 an hour, with a chance for up to $800 in bonus pay.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Employment starts Aug. 10, with training sessions scheduled for July 31 through Aug. 1.

Participants should bring their resumes, Social Security cards and valid documents for employment authorization. Walk-ins are welcome, but advance registration is encouraged here.
