LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash reported early in southwest Las Vegas.
Troopers responded just after 3 a.m. to westbound CC-215 at Rainbow Boulevard following reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan.
Authorities say an adult male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
All westbound lanes of CC-215 at Rainbow are closed. Traffic is being diverted off westbound CC-215 onto the CC-215/Rainbow on-ramp.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes and avoid the area.
The duration of the closure was not immediately known.
