Sigma Derby has developed a cult following among Las Vegas visitors. Players wager between 1 cent and $2 on which horse will win before the gears turn and the miniature horses race around the track.
The final day to play Sigma Derby at the D will be Sunday, June 14, through midnight. The game is expected to be back in operation at Golden Gate on Friday, June 19, at 4 p.m.
That evening, Golden Gate will also host its daily “The Night Starts Here 3.0” event at 6 p.m., featuring an open bar and free play. The updated 3.0 version will include a late-night leaderboard in which the top 10 slot point earners from 4–8 p.m. will split a $1,000 free slot play prize pool. From 8 p.m. to midnight, the top 10 slot point earners will each receive $100 in free slot play.
