LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 19-year-old Las Vegas man has been arrested in connection with allegations of sexual abuse of a minor in Victorville, California, according to the Victorville Police Department.
Deputies and detectives began investigating the allegations Saturday, June 6. Investigators identified Juan Carlos Hernandez-Alcala of Las Vegas as the suspect, officials said.
Detectives said Hernandez-Alcala contacted the victim through a social media messaging application and drove from Las Vegas to Victorville on multiple occasions, where he met with the victim and committed acts of sexual abuse. Investigators also believe he had explicit conversations with other minor girls, officials said.

Hernandez-Alcala was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, officials said.
His Bail was set at $1 million and will be extradited to San Bernardino County at a later date.
Victorville detectives said they worked with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and the coordinated efforts led to the arrest.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims.
