LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a woman was found dead lying on a sidewalk in the East Valley.
On April 21, around 8 a.m., officers responded to reports of a woman lying unresponsive on the sidewalk of a business in the 3500 block of East Bonanza Road near Pecos, according to LVMPD.

Officials report the woman died on the scene. LVMPD Detectives determined the woman was beaten at some point, according to the release.
LVMPD is seeking assistance from any witnesses in the area at the time of the incident or any businesses in the area who may have surveillance video to locate the suspect.
