LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada SPCA’s 6th Annual Neon Dog Walk is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, at Silverado Ranch Park, 9855 Gillespie St., Las Vegas.
Gates and registration open at 3 p.m. The walk begins at 4 p.m., and festivities continue through 7 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to wear neon attire for the walk, which raises funds to support Nevada SPCA’s shelter, medical care, enrichment, and adoption services. The organization also operates a pet food pantry, low-cost microchip clinics, and medical assistance programs for pet owners.

What the money supports
This year’s fundraising goal is $125,000. Every registered participant will receive a commemorative 2026 Neon Dog Walk T-shirt and a wag bag, while supplies last.
“Our Neon Dog Walk has become one of our favorite community traditions because it celebrates the incredible bond between people and their pets while directly helping animals in need,” said Lori Heeren, executive director of Nevada SPCA. “As a local, independent nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generosity of our community. This year’s goal is to raise more than $125,000 to provide lifesaving care for homeless animals and vital support services for pet owners throughout Southern Nevada.”
Event highlights
The Neon Village area — open to the public — will feature a live DJ, entertainment, doggie stage contests and prizes, local food and beverage vendors, a craft beer garden, pet-friendly vendors, and interactive activities.
Registration and requirements
Early bird registration is $25 through Sunday, Aug. 9, using the code EARLYBIRD. Standard registration is $35 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Participants may register individually or as part of a fundraising team at give.nevadaspca.org/ndw2026.
Dogs must be friendly, current on vaccinations, and on a leash throughout the event.
