LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Penn & Teller are staying at the Rio.
Rio Hotel & Casino announced that the legendary magic-and-comedy duo has extended its residency for three more years, keeping one of Las Vegas’ longest-running headline acts at the off-Strip resort. The duo revealed the extension during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the property said.
Penn & Teller have performed at the Rio since 2001, building a run of more than two decades with a show known for illusion, sharp humor and audience interaction. The performers have been billed as the “Bad Boys of Magic” for decades and are among the best-known names in Las Vegas entertainment.

“Penn & Teller are synonymous with Las Vegas entertainment, and we are proud to continue our partnership with them for the next three years,” Rod Turlan, president and general manager of Rio Hotel & Casino, said in a statement.
Penn & Teller said the Rio has been their “home base” for more than 20 years and that they are looking forward to welcoming fans in the years ahead.
Tickets are on sale now. Penn & Teller perform Thursday through Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Penn & Teller Theater inside Rio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
