LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Pedestrian safety is a hot topic in the Las Vegas Valley.

This month, an Arbor View High School student was hit and killed outside of her school. Next week, advocates are hosting a discussion about pedestrian safety.

They are inviting the public to come. It’s planned for Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. near the 215 beltway and Durango.
