LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A semi-truck driver is dead Wednesday morning after an overnight rollover crash on I-15 near Moapa, according to Nevada State Police.
Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the crash at approximately 11:08 p.m. Tuesday on the northbound I-15 off-ramp at mile marker 75 in Clark County.
The preliminary investigation indicates a single commercial semi-truck and trailer left the roadway and rolled over. The driver was ejected, according to police, and one adult male was confirmed deceased at the scene.
The northbound I-15 off-ramp at mile marker 75 is closed for an undetermined amount of time. Northbound I-15 mainline traffic is not affected by the closure.
Nevada Highway Patrol said additional information will be released following the preliminary investigation.
