LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Signs of HOPE has opened its request period for schools to bring free sexual abuse prevention and education programming into classrooms ahead of the 2026-2027 school year.
The curriculum is available in some Clark County School District schools and is designed with age-appropriate lessons to help children protect themselves and one another against sexual predation. Programs are available to public and private schools within Clark County at no cost.
Kim Small, CEO of Signs of HOPE — which stands for Healing, Options, Prevention and Education — said education is a vital component to preventing sexual abuse, which she described as a significant and underreported issue in the community.

Programs offered
- Care for Kids — Pre-K through 2nd grade
- Child Assault Prevention Program — 1st through 3rd grade
- We Care — 3rd through 7th grade
- YourSpace — 8th through 12th grade
